Van Eaton grew up in Alaska. Michael has a passion for learning, and it shows with an impressive educational background with a BS in Material Science Engineering, a BS in Chemistry Education, and an MS in Education Administration.[3]
When it comes to teaching, Van Eaton has multiple areas of expertise including chemistry, physics, coaching swimming and waterpolo. Being able to look at underage boys all day was probably a great motivator.
In his free time, Van Eaton enjoys hobbies like scuba diving, traveling, refereeing water polo, working on cars, maintaining his home, web design, and meeting up with underage boys in other states.
Van Eaton was put on administrative leave from Auburn Riverside High School after allegedly soliciting sex from an underage male child.[4] He had been caught two other times, in 2009 and 2016, but faced no consequences due to "lack of evidence."
