From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Michelle Alyssa Go (December 29, 1981[1] – January 15, 2022) was a 40-year-old Asian-American woman who was pushed to death by Simon Martial[2] in the Times Square Train Station, who then was arrested. She graduated in American High School in Fremont, California, where she was a member of the Honor Society, and a cheerleader in 1998. In 2002, she worked for Ferguson Plumbing Supply in Pasadena as a customer service and sales representative. She is known for joining the New York Junior League, where she helped many low-income New Yorkers struggling to continue.[3]

Early life and career[edit]

Go was born to Justin and Marjorie Go on December 29, 1981, in Berkeley, California.[2] She grew up in Fremont, California with her parents, including his brother, Jefferey. Circa 1994, she attended the "American High School" in Fremont and graduated in 1998.[2] There, she was an honor society member and a cheerleader. Later in 2002, after she graduated at the UCLA college in Los Angeles, she worked at Ferguson Plumbing Supply in Pasadena, California as a customer service and sales representative.[2] In 2010, she received an MBA from the New York University's Stern School of Business where she worked in the Barclays Capital, a bank located at zip code 10020 of New York.

Go's case received attention due to its unprovocative malice, and its speculation by media and investigators on whether or not she was targeted due to her Asian American background.

Death[edit]

On January 15, 2022, Go left her apartment on the Upper West Side and was about to step onto the train station in Time Square. When she got there, a 61-year-old man named Simon Martial pushed her onto the southbound R-train.[4]
