Michelle Crispin
Michelle Crispin (born in Butler, Pennsylvania) is a music executive, singer and musician based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Early Life
Michelle showed an early aptitude for music, starting piano lessons at age 7. Throughout high school and college she continued her music studies, winning multiple awards and receiving a full scholarship to Jacksonville University. After graduation she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music.
Music Career
Michelle toured, recorded and performed with several bands, including fronting the all-girl group Fem 2 Fem, who gained notoriety by being the first band to have openly gay members and pose for Playboy Magazine. After leaving Fem 2 Fem she went solo, collaborating with producers Rob Hoffman and Heather Holley, who were at that time launching the career of Christina Aguilera. Michelle was named "Best New Artist" at the 1999 Billboard Dance Music Summit for her release “Superstar”.
Label Executive
Michelle transitioned to the executive side of the business after the birth of her first child. She took a job as a receptionist at Vellum Entertainment, headed by label executive Tom Callahan. Within 6 months she was promoted to General Manager and was instrumental in the successful development, marketing & release of artists such as Jordan Hill, David Boyles, Richard Maranon, and Suzy K.
mediaHo
Michelle started mediaHo publicity, a music marketing/publicity firm, in 2004, shortly after the birth of her second child. Clients included Willy Porter, Katie Costello, Dave Eggar, Omar Torrez, Rhythms del Mundo, Joey Ryan (of the Milk Carton Kids), and Kaile Goh. Her knack for finding and developing young talent led to the re-branding of her company to mediaHo entertainment in 2010, providing artist development, management, branding and licensing. She launched and managed the careers of Katie Costello, Charlotte Sabina, Karen Rubyn, and Margot (aka Caitlin Moe from The Dolls).
Music Supervision
"The D Monster” [1], a 2010 indie short comedy written and directed by Kinga Suto, was Michelle's first project as music supervisor. Other credits include the indie short 2012 comedy “Big Breakin”[2], feature film "Comet"[3] (currently in post-production) and upcoming feature film “I Am a DJ” (currently in pre-production). She is Senior Creative Director at Mighty Generation Music, a boutique licensing agency based out of West Hollywood, CA.

Michelle was featured on “Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry”[4] in 2011 (as Michelle Broome).
