Michelle Watts
Michelle Watts is a top-ranked female powerlifter, currently competing in the 114-lb and 123-lb weight classes. She has elite totals in both weight classes. As of August 4, 2012, Watts is tied for #1 in the current Powerliftingwatch.com lifter rankings for the 114-lb weight class in bench press. Her best competition lifts in the 114-lb raw weight class are 203.93 lbs for squat, 181.88 lbs for bench press, and 301.33 lbs for deadlift; her best competition total in that weight class is 688.95 lbs. (elite total).[1] Her best competition lifts in the 123-lb raw weight class are 254 lbs for squat, 181.88 lbs for bench press, and 336 lbs for deadlift.
On March 13, 2010, she won top honors at the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Nevada and Western States Powerlifting Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada, and was named Best Female Lifter in the Powerlifting, Bench Press, Deadlift and Push-Pull events.[2] On July 9, 2010, she was named Best Female Lifter for Bench Press and Best Female Lifter for Deadlift at the AAU National Bench Press Deadlift, Pushpull and North American Powerlifting Championships in Mesquite, Nevada.[3] In October 2010, she was named Best Female Lifter at the 100% Raw World Powerlifting Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada. In January 2011, she was named Best Female Lifter at the SPF 4-in-1 Powerlifting Meet in Pleasanton, California.[4]
