Mickaella L. Perina

Mickaella L. Perina, PhD is a Martiniquan philosopher and academic.[1][2]

Career[edit]

Perina is currently a faculty member at the University of Massachusetts Boston in the Philosophy Department.

Her published research areas include political theory, race theory, and cultural theory, focused on citizenship and participation in democratic systems.[3]

Perina is also one of the co-organizers of the California Roundtable on Philosophy and Race, an organization started in 2004 that "brings together philosophers of race, and those working in related fields in a small and congenial setting to share their work and to help further this sub-discipline of philosophy." [4]
