MicroPublication Biology (μP biology) is a peer reviewed open access journal[1] published by Caltech library[2] and supported by National Institutes of Health[3]. The journal conforms with the micropublishing methodology to publish short[4] academic papers in accelerated way.[5] The findings published in MicroPublication Biology are automatically submitted to genomic databases (WormBase[6][7], The Arabidopsis Information Resource[8], FlyBase[9], PomBase[10], Saccharomyces Genome Database[11] etc.).[12] Every publication usually contains singular table or a figure with brief text to keep each publication brief[13].
