Microchip Is The Mark Of The Beast Theory is a theory and trend in the following in the years which said that a microchip will be mandatory for all buying and selling and that Christians should avoid at all cost.

In 1978 Saint Paisios said to a church follower that in the future a microchip will be implanted in people for all buying and selling and that before the microchip a mandatory biometric ID will be mandatory in Greece in the following years.[citation needed]
Following that many preachers in Greece started preaching that a Biometric ID and a Microchip will be mandatory in the future and that Christians should avoid it at all costs, in 1983 Father Nektarios Moulatsiotis wrote a book about the Biometric ID and the mark of the beast, the book became very popular in Greece but most people ignored it's message. [1]
From 1998 το 2006 Moulatsiotis formed a rock band called "Paparokades". He was in the band along with 2 other monks, they sang songs about the microchip and the mark of the beast and were very popular at the time. The band brought more people to visit the monastery Moulatsiotis was in. [2] One of the monks left the band in 2006 and became a rock singer in another band.
Sweden's popularity of chipping received many negative receptions from people in the United States, who viewed the chip as the mark of the beast. [3] In 2015 a street preacher named Pater Kleomenis appeared in Greece and made a resistance team against the mark of the beast. [4]
Even as of today people in Greece are resisting the Biometric ID. The coronavirus vaccine is also seen as the mark of the beast, the Infrared thermometer is also seen as the mark in the forehead by some people. In 2020 most of the songs made by Moulatsiotis were remastered by Vasileios Diagoumas.
Moulatsiotis in one of his interviews in 1995 said that "In the future, a mark will be most likely made, it will be a chip, a biometric ID or a scanner in the forehead". [5]Judging from what Moulatsiotis said, his predictions were probably right.
