The Surface phone is the rumoured mobile phone addition to the Microsoft Surface family of personal computing devices designed and manufactured by Microsoft. The device is reportedly going to run a 64-bit version of Windows 10 operating system. The Surface phone would be the first device in the Surface family to succeed the Lumia phones.

History

Microsoft is yet to make an official announcement for the Surface Phone. Its release has reportedly been delayed until 2019.

Hardware

The Surface phone is rumoured to use the Snapdragon 835 CPU, which would set up Microsoft to use the 64-bit version of Windows 10 Mobile.

Software

The Surface phone is rumoured to be shipping with Windows 10.

Reception

Some critics have complained about the delay in the phone being announced.
