Middle Palms is an Australian indie pop rock band which formed at the start of High School in Hobart. The band is made up of Sam Sherlock (vocals), Floyd Taylor (guitar), Charlie Wilkinson (bass) and Callum Waller (drums).[2]
The band released their debut single "Talk Too Much" on January 8, 2024.[3] Which has received more than 40,000 streams[4] and on December 21, 2024, they released their debut EP "Runaway Girl."[5] Middle Palms aired on ABC radio for the first time in April 2024, after being played on triple j unearthed. [6]
The band performed at Party in the Paddock (PITP)[7] after it was called up by triple j to play following winning the Triple J Unearthed local act competition in 2025.[8] The group attended the festival as punters in 2024,[9] but in 2025 they will instead be a part of the lineup and be playing alongside artists such as: The Kooks, Empire Of The Sun, Oliver Tree, Allday and Aurora.[10]
