Midnight Run 2 is an upcoming sequel to the 1988 American action comedy film Midnight Run. The film will star Robert De Niro, reprising his role as bounty hunter Jack Walsh, and Regina Hall.
Development[edit]
Universal Pictures has attempted to make a theatrical sequel over the years, none of them coming to fruition. On November 8 2021, it was confirmed that a sequel is in active development, with a script being written by Aeysha Carr.[1]
Plot details and other cast members are currently under wraps.
De Niro will produce the film with his long time producing partner Jane Rosenthal, along with Hall, Jesse Collins and Berry Welsh.[2]
