Mikael Simm (born 7 December 1988[4]) is a Swedish medical doctor and politician for Alternative for Sweden.
Early life[edit]
Mikael Simm was born on 7 December 1988 in Kristianstad, Sweden.[5]
Education and career[edit]
In Spring 2007, he scored 1.8 in the Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test, making him the 5th best from his municipality.[6]
He studied the medical doctor program at Uppsala University between 2011 and 2017.[7]
He works as a medical doctor at the Centralsjukhuset Kristianstad in Kristianstad.[8][9]
Political career[edit]
Sweden Democrats[edit]
He was previously politically active with the Sweden Democrats in Uppsala Municipality.[10][11]
Alternative for Sweden[edit]
He ran on 5th place in the 2018 Swedish general election.[12][13][14][15][16]
In June 2022, it was announced that he would run on 8th place in the 2022 Swedish general election.[17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25]
He got 106 persons votes in the state election.[26]
He has been a board member since its founding in 2018.[27]
Personal life[edit]
He moved to Hässleholm Municipality in October 2019 from Kristianstad and currently resides in Vinslöv with his wife Sofia and four children.[28][29][30][31]
