Mike Ahern

Mike Ahern is a retired news presenter from Indianapolis. He appeared on WISH-TV, the then-CBS affiliate in Indianapolis.
Career[edit]
In 1967, Ahern began reporting for WISH-TV. Until his retirement on December 1, 2004, he covered thousands of stories and produced dozens of specials. He is best known for his work on WISH-TV's 5, 6, and 11PM newscasts which he co-presented with Debby Knox for 24 years, making them the longest tenured anchor team in Indianapolis television. According to Channel 23 in Indianapolis, Ahern is returning to broadcasting for WISH-TV 8 in 2011 with a new prime-time show called One on One. It will debut at 10:30pm May 12.
