Mike Majlak (born Michael Majlak, January 13, 1985) is an American influencer, author, and podcast co-host. Majlak started his career as a social media promoter for Nice Guy Promotions and worked there from December 2011 to November 2014. Majlak started working for a company called Lovesac in 2014 which makes furniture. While working for Lovesac, Mike began working for Maverick in 2018, an entertainment company owned by the Warner Music Group where he serves as a Marketing Director. As part of a marketing campaign for Lovesac, Majlak reached out to YouTuber, Logan Paul, in an attempt to promote the company's lounge beanbags. The two became friends and eventually launched a podcast called "Impaulsive with Logan Paul". The podcast gained over a million followers on Youtube within a month of its release. As of 2022, the podcast is ranked as the 44th podcast on Spotify and the 142nd most listened to on Apple/iTunes. Mike wrote a book called The Fifth Vital which was published in 2020.[1][2][3]

Early life[edit]

Mike Majlak was born on January 13, 1985, in Milford Connecticut. After graduating high school in 2003, Majlak attended Fordham University but did not complete his degree.[4]

Career[edit]

Podcast Co-host[edit]

In 2018, he formed the podcast "Impaulsive with Logan Paul" alongside Logan Paul. The podcast publishes weekly episodes that feature guests within popular culture. Notable guests that have been on the show include boxer Mike Tyson, political commentator Ben Shapiro, and hip-hop artist 6ix9ine.[5] According to Forbes, The podcast has received over 100 million views since 2020.[6] Impaulsive won an award presented by Steamy for the best podcast of 2019. In 2020, Mike Majlak published his first book titled, The Fifth Vital alongside New York Times bestselling author Riley J. Ford. The book discusses Majlak's early childhood and his addiction to opioids. Mike mentions there were several times when he was inches from death and finally decided to get his life together. After the book's release, Majlak was accused of fabricating parts of his story. According to one source, Majlak used the stories of his childhood friends and claimed they were his own. A friend of Majlak, Matthew Duchon, said that Majlak paid him money to not mention the falsities of his book.[8]

Personal life[edit]

In 2020, it became publically known that Majlak was dating pornographic actress Lana Rhoades. Because of Rhoades' fame as an actress, Majlak also gained followers as a result of the relationship. In a podcast called "No Jumper", Majlak explained that the two dated for a little over a year before they two broke up in 2021.[9] In 2021, Lana Rhoades announces that she was pregnant with many people assuming that Majlak was the father. Majlak denied these rumors and went requested that people stop spreading the fake story. Rhoades gave birth in January of 2022 and the identity of the father is still unknown.[10]
