Mike Stoker

Michael Brian Stoker Is a politician and former government official who served as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Region 9 administrator in 2018-2020 under the Donald Trump Administration.[1]

He later served on the Federal Energy Commission. He had earlier served on the California Agricultural Labor Relations Board, including a term as chair, and served on the Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors. He served as Deputy Secretary of State for the State of California from 2000 to 2002.[2]

Stoker was born in Camarillo, California, to George Stoker, an electrical contractor, and Joanne Stoker.[3]

Stoker's priorities upon taking the job at the Environmental Protection Agency were Superfund sites and Native American Tribal interests.

Stoker was previously married, and has two adult children, Courtlin and Brandon. He is married to Debi Helm-Stoker, and they make their home in Carpinteria, California.
