Mikiko Watanabe

Mikiko Watanabe (Japanese: 渡邊美希子 Hepburn: Watanabe Mikiko, c. 1984 – 18 July 2019) was a Japanese art director, who worked at Kyoto Animation.[1]

She died on 18 July 2019, alongside 34 other people, during Kyoto Animation arson attack. She was 35. Watanabe was notable as an art director for three popular Kyoani series.[2]
