Mikiko Watanabe

Mikiko Watanabe (Japanese: 渡邊美希子 Hepburn: Watanabe Mikiko, c. 1984 – 18 July 2019) was a Japanese art director, who worked at Kyoto Animation.[1]

She died on 18 July 2019, alongside 34 other people, during the Kyoto Animation arson attack. She was 35. Watanabe was notable as an art director for three popular Kyoani series.[2]
