Miles Fenton (born 10 April 1999) is an English professional footballer who currently plays as a midfielder for Greenville Triumph in the USL League One.
Career[edit]
Youth[edit]
Fenton attended Wilmslow High School, and led Wilmslow to District Schools Cup titles in five straight years. Fenton also played as part of the academy teams at Manchester City, Manchester United, and Burnley,[1] where he was released in the summer of 2017.[2][3]
College[edit]
In 2018, Fenton moved to the United States to attended Furman University and play college soccer. In four years with the Paladins, Fenton made 68 appearances, scoring eight goals and tallying twelve assists. Fenton was named to the All-SoCon Conference Second team in 2019 and 2021. He also garnered Southern Conference All-Freshman honors, helped Furman to the SoCon Tournament title and an NCAA Tournament second round appearance in 2018.[4]
Professional[edit]
Greenville Triumph[edit]
On 29 April 2022, Fenton signed a professional contract with USL League One club Greenville Triumph.[5] He made his debut for Greenville the same day, appearing as an 82nd–minute substitute during a 1–0 win over Chattanooga Red Wolves.[6]
