Armando Soto (born April 20th, 1988), best known by his stage name Misfit Soto, is a Mexican-American rapper, producer, and song writer.

Soto was born in Los Angeles County, and raised in the city of Hawthorne, a city in the middle of Los Angeles, CA.
Misfit Soto (Real Name Armando Espinoza) is a Mexican-American rapper, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He has sparked his own movement with California Hip-Hop, and the Chicano Rap scene. Every day he works more and more to provide a better life than poverty for his family by taking steps to manifest his dreams along with his people's. Growing up in Hawthorne its only natural that his idols include The Alchemist, Big Pun, and Kurupt. Not only did they influence his style, rhyme, and wordplay, but it also had a major impact on his beat production. He has become quite the triple threat as he now uses a collective of what he has learned to not only make a living but better create his own vision as well. With a decade of experience in the music industry, why would anyone expect less of this artist. Misfit has captivated audiences with his lyrical content, and true to life substance his music contains. He has performed alongside artists like The Beatnuts, Gangstarr, Psycho Realm, DJ Muggs, And GZA not to mention many more.
