Miss Ecuador 1956 was the 2nd edition of the Miss Ecuador was held on June 26, 1956 in Piscina Oliímpica Municipal de Guayaquil. The winner was Mercedes Flores from Guayas who was crowned by Miss Ecuador 1955, Leonor Carccahe from Gaayas[1]. Mercedes Flores represented Ecuador at Miss Universe 1956.
