The 9th edition of Miss World Ecuador will be held under the Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador 2021. The pageant has been planned to be held in September, 2021 in the city of Portoviejo, Manabí; but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has not been confirmed the date and venue yet. At the end of the evening, Ámar Pacheco from Guayaquil will crown her successor as Miss World 2021 who will compete at Miss World 2022. In this edition, the pageant will have two phases, in which the delegate for Miss Grand 2021 will be selected in the first phase; and the delegates to Miss World 2022 and Miss Supranational 2022 will be selected in the second phase.

Miss Grand Ecuador 2021 was elected on June 26, 2021 at TC Televisión Studios in Guayaquil, Guayas among the delegates of Cañar, El Oro, Esmeraldas, Los Ríos, Manabí and Pichincha.[1]
