Miss insectos is an upcoming Venezuelan drama film starring Jorge Reyes, Rhandy Piñango, Alberto Rowinsky among others. The subject of the movie is the beauty pageant contest in Venezuela and the involvement of the Trans Community. It is a coproduction between CNAC and Ignacio Marquez’s production company; Marquez is also the director of the film.

The movie started shooting in August 2024 with the support of several national cinema institutions like CNAC among others. Ignacio Marquez told Venezuelan newspaper Últimas Noticias[2] that the project is led by Jorge Reyes, Alejandra Sandoval, Adriana Romero, and Rhandy Piñango.[3] Also Miss Insectos is a coproduction between El Dorado Film and Iribiarte Cines. Several of the main locations are set in "Universidad Central De Venezuela" and the national gallery of arts.
