Mississippi Gulf Coast Spring Break (commonly referred to as Black Spring Break) is an annual three-day spring break event held on the public beaches of Biloxi, Mississippi. This event brings spring breakers and college students from all over the southeast region: Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Florida, Arkansas, and the Carolinas.

In recent years, the event has expanded its’ reach, bringing attendees from as far as California, Arizona, Illinois, and New York to enjoy 26 miles of beach, food, drinks, shopping, vendors, wall to wall street activities and live concerts.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Spring Break generally takes place on the second weekend in April and is one of the most highly anticipated and talked about events in the south.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Spring Break was founded in November 2009 by Keith Brown. He revitalized the event by approaching it with a plan to bring longevity, and national attention, with hopes of extending its’ life for another twenty years.

Mississippi Gulf Coast Spring Break is a spring break event that brings mainstream and independent hip-hop, R&B, reggae, pop artists, and local and national DJ’s to attend, perform and network. Comedians, celebrities, TV Personalities, hosts and socialites along with professional NBA, NFL, and MLB players have also attended the festivities.
