Miyanda Katiwa is a Zambian entrepreneur, author and business coach.[4] Best known for ProSoft Human Resource Solutions which was named the best Human Resource Development Company in Zambia. Miyanda is also a farmer.[3]
Early Life[edit]
Miyanda was born in Livingstone. At the age of 8 her family moved to Zimbabwe, where she grew up, under a single parent headed household this due to the fact that her parents were divorced.[2]
Education and Career[edit]
Miyanda managed to pay for her college by plaiting people’s hair, a skill she learnt from her mother. Miyanda studied Human Resource Management.[2] She moved back to Zambia from Zimbabwe in her early adulthood. She worked for the Courier and Communications Industry for eight years, after which she set out on her own[1] and set up an office in her children’s bedroom and Prosoft Human Resource Solutions was created[2] which was named Best Human Resource Development Company in Zambia.[3] Miyanda has since written a book titled ‘Rising from the Ashes'.[5][6] In June 2017 Miyanda entered politics, she joined the ruling party; The Patriotic Front.[7] Miyanda is also a farmer, she owns and runs 20 acre Pamushana Farm.

Miyanda is married and mother of four children.[4]
