Moses Agboola, known professionally as Mo Eazy (born September 3) is a Nigerian Rapper, Songwriter, Producer known for his singles "Red Carpet"[1] and "Kosoro".[2] "Mo Eazy" lived in the United Kingdom for the better part of his life but relocated to Nigeria[3] and is currently signed to Soul Muzik.[4]

Early life

Agboola was born in Kano, a city in the Northern part of Nigeria but moved over to the United Kingdom where he spent a better part of his early life. Agboola attributes his intuitive musical sense by listening to the likes of Fela Kuti, Michael Jackson, Ebenezer Obey and this musical exposure at a very young age had a strong impact on his use of infectious melodies in his materials.

Career

In the early stages of his career, Agboola (Known as Young Mo at the time) got together with Hydro[who?] and formed the group Renegadez.[clarification needed] Agboola later embarked on a solo career as Mo Eazy. In 2010, Agboola co-produced and co-wrote the Golden Jubilee song by 2Face Idibia to mark Nigeria's 50th independence. Agboola, who has several local and international nominations and awards to his name, was also featured on remix tracks for 2face Idibia's "Chemical reaction" and worked on the Darey single "The Way You Are". Agboola also recorded a cover on Psy's "Gangnam Style".[5]

In 2011, Agboola relocated to Nigeria.[6]

In the first quarter of 2012, Agboola released his first official African single "Kosoro"[7] and followed it up with a music video.[8]

In 2013, Agboola released two singles, "Smile" & "Never Going Down", which featured artist Darey.
