In 2013, MobileSyrup acquired BetaKit for an undisclosed sum from Postmedia Network.[3] BetaKit is a business news blog covering emerging technologies and innovation.[4] The acquisition led to the shuttering of BetaKit Insights, a paid subscriber service that provided technology insights for executive decision makers.[5]
