Mobitaz is a test automation solution accelerator[1] developed and marketed by MSys Technologies, a Georgia-based technology company providing IT services in storage, cloud computing, DevOps, embedded systems, virtualization, testing, and big data services.[2] [3] Mobitaz is intended for functional test automation of Android and iOS apps.[4]
Overview
Mobitaz features[5]
Parallel execution - Involves less manual intervention by reducing the recurrences in manual testing for each release, by recording once using the Mobitaz UI and playing back across multiple Android/iOS devices in one step, thereby reducing the turnaround time in testing.
Test on real devices: Mobitaz runs tests on real Android/iOS devices. Rooting or jailbreaking is not necessary while testing with Mobitaz.
Data-driven testing: Replace recorded hard coded values with values driven from external data sources. Export/import data from data files, such as CSV, Excel, or XML.
Record and playback capability: Object-based record and playback functionality, which provides maintainable recordings in the Mobitaz Server application and generates detailed report files for quick error detection.
Performance measurement: Measurement of performance metrics such as battery, CPU usage, memory etc.
Reporting: Detailed reports of test cases are available in HTML and PDF formats with performance graphs.
Android/iOS support: Support from Android Froyo (V 2.2) till the most recent version of Android (Lollipop).
