Moein Jalali (Persian: معین جلالی) is an Iranian architect and academic known for his conceptual architectural designs that blend contemporary approaches with cultural elements. His work has received international recognition, including the 2A Asia Architectural Award.
Early life and education
Jalali completed his secondary education in Mathematics and Physics at Alborz High School in Tehran. He earned his architectural degrees from:
- Bachelor of Architecture - Imam Khomeini International University
- Master of Architecture - Islamic Azad University, Karaj Branch
- PhD in Architecture - Islamic Azad University, Arak Branch
Career
After working at architectural firms including Arbe Company and Shar Company, Jalali established Moein Jalali and Partners in 2018. His office was selected to represent Iran at the 2019 Venice Biennale of Architecture.
