Mohamed Mood (Arabic: محمد مود; muˈħamːad muːd, born January 1,1986 [1], in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia), whose real name is Mohamed Mustafa Al Sharif, is a Sudanese rapper [2]and songwriter active in the contemporary Gulf hip-hop scene. His music blends Arabic rap with social themes and influences from modern Gulf music.[3][4][5]

Mohamed Mood was born on January 1,1986,[6] in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to parents of Sudanese origin.[3][2]
Career
He began his music activities in 2004 [7] and initially encountered difficulties related to recording and limited knowledge of audio[8]engineering tools. He later learned to use production software and released his early work, including the song[9] "My Friends".[10][11] Mohamed Mood started his career as an underground rapper,[12] [13]producing his recordings with basic equipment and distributing his[14] music online through forums.[15][16]
Some public sources place him among the early group of artists active during the initial development [17] of rap music in Saudi Arabia[18][19].
