Mohamed Omar (in Arabic: محمد عمر) (born 20 September 1991) is an Egyptian digital media journalist and consultant, who has worked for Twitter and Facebook.
Early life and education[edit]
Omar was born in Cairo[1] and studied history at Cairo University.
Career[edit]
Omar was an editor at Washwasha, an Egyptian entertainment tabloid, between 2008 and 2013. In April 2013, he became managing editor at the entertainment news portal FilFan.com.[2] He worked there for three years,[3] subsequently working as a consultant for Twitter in the MENA region from 2016[4] until the end of 2018, when he started working for Facebook MENA.[citation needed]
