Mohammad Abedi (born 1999) is an Iranian filmmaker, novelist, and child rights activist. His novels have been translated into more than ten languages, and his artistic works have been presented in over 100 international festivals. He is a fellow of Yale University’s Global Justice Program and the founder of the non-profit organization Teachers Against Poverty, which works to reduce educational poverty worldwide.[1][2]
Early life and education
Abedi was born in Mashhad, Iran, in 1999. He studied Western philosophy and Persian literature, completing courses at universities including Yale University and Harvard University.[3][4]

Activism
Abedi is the founder of Teachers Against Poverty, a non-profit organization working to reduce educational poverty globally and affiliated with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals campaign.[29]
