Mohammad Laeeq (Urdu: محمد لئیق‎; born 4 August 1989[dubious ])[1] is a Pakistani cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman. He was born in Faisalabad.[2]

In January 2006, Laeeq played in four Under-19 ODI matches for Pakistan against the West Indies. The following month he was a member of the trophy winning Pakistan squad at the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Sri Lanka; he played in one group match during the tournament. In 2007, he was dropped from the Pakistan Under-19 squad after it was discovered that he was older than originally believed.[1]

In January 2007, Laeeq made his debut for Faisalabad (region) in the inter-region Grade‑II competition.[3] In the March, he made his List A debut for Faisalabad Wolves against Rawalpindi Rams in the National One Day Cup; he scored 48 runs before being run out.[4] In 2008, he played for Faisalabad (district) in the inter-district competition.[3]

In December 2008, Laeeq was selected in the Faisalabad (region) squad for the 2008–09 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.[5] He made his first-class debut in the opening match of the season against Lahore Ravi,[6] and played two further matches[7] as Faisalabad finished seventh in the regions group. He was recalled to the Wolves team in 2009, when he played four matches[8] as Faisalabad failed to reach the knockout stage, finishing second in their group to Lahore Lions on run rate.[9] In 2010, he again played inter-district cricket for Faisalabad (district).[3]
