Mohammed Abdul Qayoom Dur Mohammad Abubakar Mohamed (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.; born 4 June 2001) is a Bahraini professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Bahraini Premier League club Manama Club and the Bahrain national team.[1]
Club career
Al-Riffa
Al-Qayoom began his senior career with Al-Riffa, progressing through their youth setup into the first-team squad. He represented Al-Riffa in the Bahraini Premier League and featured in regional continental fixtures in the AFC Cup.
Manama Club
In July 2024, Al-Qayoom transferred to Manama Club. Operating primarily as a central midfielder and deep-lying playmaker, he established himself as a key figure in Manama's midfield rotation.[2]
International career
Al-Qayoom made his senior international debut for the Bahrain national team in November 2020 in a friendly match against Lebanon. He was selected in Bahrain's squad for the 2023 AFC Asian Cup in Qatar, featuring off the bench during their 1–0 group-stage victory over Jordan.[3]
