Mohammed Abdulkadir
Mohammed Abdulkadir was a Brigadier-General who served as the Chief of Staff to the late Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt-Gen Ibrahim Attahiru until his death on 21 May, 2021,[1] in a military plane crash near Kaduna International Airport, Kaduna State.[2]

Early life
Mohammed Abdulkadir was born on the 19th April, 1971 in Kaduna State.[2] He hailed from Niger State, North Central, Nigeria.[3]
Military career and Honours
Mohammed Abdulkadir became a Brigadier-General on August 17, 2017.[3] He was a recipient of the United Nations Operations Medal and other honours as an officer in the Nigerian Army.[2]
Death
On May 21, 2021, Mohammed Abdulkadir was traveling on a Nigerian Air Force Beechcraft King Air 350 on an official visit to Kaduna State with late Chief of Army Staff Ibrahim Attahiru, where they were to attend the Passing out Parade of 80RRI (80th Regular Recruit Intake) in Depot of the Nigerian Army on May 22, 2021.[4] The crash led to the death of Mohammed Abdulkadir and ten others on board the craft.[1]
