Mohsin Hani Al Bahrani is a business magnate, entrepreneur, investor and billionaire of Omani Origin.[1][2][3] He is the CEO of MHD ACERE which constitutes the cluster of automotive, construction equipment, and renewable energy divisions of the Mohsin Haider Darwish Group.[4][5] Al-Bahrani holds the esteemed position of Chief Executive Officer within the Automotive, Construction Equipment, and Renewable Energy cluster (ACERE) at the renowned Mohsin Haider Darwish Group, a prominent conglomerate within the automotive industry in the Middle East. Additionally, he proudly serves as the visionary founder of MHD Leasing LLC,[6] a distinguished entity that exclusively caters to the tourism sector and automotive professionals in the Sultanate of Oman. He was named in Arabian Business's GCC Young Achievers for 2021 list.[7][8][9][10]
Biography[edit]
Mohsin is the grandson of Late Mohsin Haider Darwish.[11][12] He is the nephew of Lujaina Mohsin Darwish and son of Areej Mohsin Darwish. He is the grandson of Late Mohsin Haider Darwish, who founded this business empire in the Sultanate of Oman. After finishing his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and Management from Brunel University, he graduated in MA, Middle Eastern Studies from King's College London, the United Kingdom in 2019.[13][4][7][5][14][15] He joined Mohsin Haider Darwish L.L.C. as Director of Automotive in 2019, handling Jaguar Land Rover, MG Motor, McLaren Automotive, Volvo, Ashok Leyland, Ford Trucks, Michelin, BF Goodrich, and XCMG in Oman.[14] He became the CEO of Mohsin Haider Darwish L.L.C. in 2020.

He is a board member of the Omani Turkish Friendship Association and an investor in Ajna Lens, a Mumbai-based XR hardware and software firm.[16][unreliable source?][5] Mohsin developed a Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicle Chargers Division and struck an agreement with ABB as the sole distributor for Electric Vehicle Charging Solutions.[17][18][19][20][21][19] He launched McLaren Automotive, ABB EV Chargers, Varta Batteries, XCMG, Ineos Grenadier, Jetour and Weir Trio[22] in Oman. He set up 13 new sales facilities in Oman and expanded after-sales from three facilities in 2019 to 11 in 2022, which has resulted in MG recording third position in car sales volume in Oman as per MEAC report. He also opened five new TYREPLUS Outlets by Michelin, increasing its reach to nine outlets, and he has overseen the newly-formed HospiCare division of MHD ACERE. At the age of 25, Mohsin is the youngest person to ever chair a Sports club in Oman.
He is a member of the Oman – Turkey Friendship Association. He is also a recipient of the TAS Icons of Oman, where he was named among the top 50 personalities in Oman with a direct impact on the growth of the country.[23][24][25]
