Monkey wrench puzzle

The monkey wrench puzzle is a puzzle in the 1991 adventure game Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. Like the puzzle’s name suggests, it involves protagonist Guybrush Threepwood needing to obtain a monkey and use it as an improvised wrench in order to open a passageway.
The puzzle has been often identified as one of the worst puzzles in the adventure game genre.
