Chapter 3 Season 2: Resistance, otherwise known simply as Season 20, was a 2022 seasonal event in the video game Fortnite that lasted from March 20 to June 4. Themed after the concept of war, the event introduced a “Zero Build” mode, in which the game’s primary building mechanic is disabled, alongside drivable tanks, vehicle augmentations, and additional parkour mechanics such as sprinting and mantling. The game’s map and items were updated to match the event’s theme, with the former adding stationary blimps that could be boarded and traversed. Notably, the event had an overarching plot that was told both in-game and through a tie-in comic book limited series by Marvel Comics involving the conflict between The Seven and the Imagined Order for control of the game’s map.
