Career

He started studying music at the age of 5, and in 2008 he started composing and producing songs. In 2012, Cristian set up his own record label, called "Thrace Music", the name of his studio. Over time, he studied piano, percussion instruments, and music in general. Cristian graduated from the "Regina Maria" National College of Arts and completed his musical studies at the Faculty of Arts, department of Music Pedagogy. Among the artists who collaborated or worked with him are: Alexandra Stan, Raluka, Oana Radu, YellLow, Mohombi, Alex Mica and Costi Ioniță.

The song "The Violin Song" is composed by Cristian Tarcea, Iuga Diana Cosmina, Osaka and Brianna and uses a sample of a folk song by Bulgarian composer Nikolay Kaufman. The video is directed by Bogdan Păun and Alexandru Mureșan and was filmed in Bulgaria. In the five months since its release, The Violin Song has garnered over 20 million views on Cat Music's YouTube channel alone. The song ranked first in the Shazam charts in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Ukraine, but also in the radio and television charts.
