Monster-collection game
Monster-collection games (also variously known as monster-taming, monster-catching, creature-collection or Pokémon-like games) are a sub-genre of Role-playing video games where the player controls a protagonist that travels the world collecting various species of monsters. These monsters are then used to battle further monsters, progressing the story.[1] [2] [3][4][5]
