Monthly Al Kawsar (Bengali: মাসিক আলকাউসার, romanized: Māsika ālakā'usāra) is a widely circulated research Islamic magazine, published in Bengali from Bangladesh. It started publishing in February 2005. It is the mouthpiece of Markazud Dawah Al Islamia, a higher Islamic education and research institution in Dhaka. This journal usually deals with various Islamic articles, masala-masayel, and answers to contemporary questions .

Description[edit]

It is the mouthpiece of higher Islamic research education institution Markazud Dawah Al Islamia, Dhaka. It was established in February 2005 in Mirpur, Dhaka with the aim of expanding Islamic education, culture and Fiqh. The magazine publishes 11 Numbers in a year. Every year the numbers of Sha'ban and Ramadan are published in one. Since its inception, Abul Hasan Muhammad Abdullah has been serving as the Editor-in-chief.

The web version of this magazine was launched in December 2009. The English version is in the process of being launched in order to spreadi the teachings of Islam in the international label. This magazine also publishes the writings, essays and fatwas of famous Muftis and eminent scholars. Among them are Abul Hasan Ali Hasani Nadwi, Muhammad Rafi Usmani, Muhammad Taqi Usmani, Abu Taher Mesbah, Abul Hasan Muhammad Abdullah, Muhammad Abdul Malek and others.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
