Cristina Bîzu (born March 3, 1991), known professionally as Morena, is a Romanian pop singer, dancer, DJ and an occasional songwriter.
Early life[edit]
Cristina studied in Târgu Jiu at the National College "Ecaterina Teodoroiu" and also started her career as a model there. At the age of 17 was a top-model in Paris working for high-class fashion designers, being the image of Givenchy and Paco Rabanne.[1][non-primary source needed]
After she met the famous Romanian Musician/DJ Tom Boxer at a fashion show, Cristina went to Bucharest, Romania in 2008 and studied at Gheorghe Lazăr National College and Bucharest National University of Arts from where she successfully graduated in 2010.[2] After that She left modeling and started singing with DJ Tom Boxer.[3]
Career[edit]
The hit "Morena my love" was the first song Morena did with Tom Boxer in a studio but because she was too young and she had to take care of her studies, Tom decided to use Antonia as the main vocal of the song. In 2011, Morena released her first single along with Tom Boxer called "Deep in Love", which became a major hit in Europe, North America, Middle East and South East Asia.[citation needed]
She earned fame due to her music and started touring various countries along with her boyfriend "Tom Boxer"[citation needed]. She released her second Music Video "Voulez Vous" featuring Israeli singer Meital De Razon in 2012, which also became a massive hit[citation needed]. Morena released her third single "Hey" with a music video in August, 2012.[citation needed]
