Mort Lawrence
Morton "Mort" Lawrence is an American comic book artist and penciller. At one time he worked for Harry Chesler's shop.[1]
He is known for his work on Atlas Comics' Young Men series (1953–1954) which reintroduced Captain America and Bucky as communist hunting super-heroes.
Other Atlas titles he contributed to in that era include Battle, Uncanny Tales and Wanted Comics.
He worked on Black Terror, and also drew "Captain Steve Savage" for Avon.[2]
