Moses Sanchez

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Moses Sanchez is an American politician, and candidate in the 2018 mayoral election in Phoenix, Arizona.[1][2][3][4]

Sanchez emigrated from Panama at age 5, and is now a resident of Ahwatukee, a sub-section of Phoenix. He teaches economics at South Mountain Community College, and runs a small digital marketing business.[1]

From 2012 to 2016, Sanchez served on the governing board of Tempe Union High School District. He was also an unsuccessful candidate in the Maricopa County Community College District election in 2016.[3]

If elected as mayor, Sanchez would be the first Latino mayor in Phoenix's history, and the first Republican mayor elected since 1999.[2] He would replace Greg Stanton, whose term is set to end in 2019.[5]
