Syed Hasan Imdad (born July 1, 1914) is a Pakistani and American Islamic Scholar, religious leader, teacher, Islamic book narrator, Urdu poet,] historian and philosopher of the shia Islam.

Early life[edit]

Imdad was born in the city of Malnapur, Ghazipur district, Uttar Pradesh, British India, and has written books on numerous topic and translated many book from Arabic and Farsi to Urdu

He received his early education at home from his father Moulana Syed Ali in Arabic and Farsi.

He was admitted to Jamia Nazmia Arabic College in 1928 and earn major degrees of (Alim, Qabil, Fazal and Mumtaz ul Fazal).

He also earned a degree in Urdu Arabic and Farsi from Allahabad Board of Lucknow University.

After finishing his education Moulana Syed Hasan Imdad joined D.A. High School in Azamgarh as a teacher.

1950 Moulana migrated to Pakistan from India.

1950 Joined Government Boys Secondary School Jacoblines, Karachi. as Urdu Teacher.

Jamia Nazmia is a centre of Shia Islamic education in India. It is located in the city of Lucknow. Nazmia was founded on the 8th Jamadi-ul-Awwal, 1308 Hijri (February 2, 1890), making it the oldest Shia religious institution of India. Jamia Nazmia was established by the late scholar Ayatollah Syed Najmul Hasan (also known as Najmul Millat).

  • Iilus Sharaie (علل الشراعی ) by Sheikh Sadooq, translated from Arabic to Urdu
