Moussouris v. Microsoft Corp.

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

In September 2015, a former Internet security technician, Katie Moussouris, filed a discrimination class-action lawsuit against Microsoft in federal court in Seattle. She alleged that Microsoft hiring practices upheld a practice of sex discrimination against women in technical and engineering roles with respect to performance evaluations, pay, promotions, and other terms and conditions of employment. The lawsuit alleged that Microsoft ranked employees on performance evaluation, and routinely gave women workers lower ratings which she alleged were based on subjective criteria. Moussouris also alleged that after reporting sexual harassment, she received a lower bonus, and that Microsoft promoted a senior male director even after determining that he harassed female employees.[1][2]
