Moxie is an indie rock band from Brattleboro, Vermont. They are currently not signed to a record label. They have already received various accolades such as first place in Windham County's Got Talent[1] and a tie for first at the Youth Services Battle of the Bands[2]. They are a regular at Brattleboro's own BrattRock festival, and they also play shows at various venues in surrounding towns.

Formation[edit]
Moxie includes Rei Kimura (vocals/guitar), Leander Holzapfel (guitar), David Cohen (bass) and Daniel Snyder (drums/vocals). The members met while in various other bands in and around Brattleboro. They started playing shows around New England, and soon after began work on their upcoming studio album.
Musical Style[edit]
Moxie have been described as "a SoVT mash up which emits a non-stop effervescent fountain of all-original, bubbly, super-danceable, '80s-esque indie rock."[3] They also have a mixed bag of influences, such as punk-style drums, funky bass, jazzy guitar chords, and soul-infused vocal lines.
