The media[5] was founded in 2020 February and Owned by the Empeewo clan Group one of Bugandan tribe originated in Central Uganda. The Mpeewo clan Group is one of the major and popularly common known group in Buganda and Uganda. It should also be noted that, the Mpeewo clan Group decided to open up it's media that was intended to promote African culture through Entertainment, Music, Arts and Drama and boosting relationships between African countries.
The introduction of Mpiima[6] Media name; The name of the media was discussed and created from the names of late bugandan Prince (Omulangila)[7] "Mpiima Johnson"[8] whose mother was Nampiima in Uganda, therefore the name of the media was intended to remember bugandan Empeewo prince clan and so the name was formed "Mpiima Media".
The media is allocated in Uganda and is one of the first growing Buganda African Clan named media following bugandan television known as BBS Terefayina one of the the leading cultural Television in Uganda.
The Media was also started to Provide Arts & Entertainment, East African Music, and keeping followers Entertained.
The Media is followed by different People from: {Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda, Zambia, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria} this is clarified on the medias social Media platforms such as Facebook and it's website.
