Vũ Quốc Anh is an independent Vietnamese rapper from Tuyên Quang, Vietnam. Most of his lyrics are society-based and address social issues, which he uses in his music to awaken the public from a state of neglect. That's why he became notable through social media platforms; his most popular songs are in the Kinh language. He uses everyday words and slang, which connect local listeners with his music, and his music often provides motivation to listeners.
Early life
Vũ Quốc Anh was born on 13 November 2001 in Tuyen Quang, Viet Nam. From the start, he developed a strong connection with deep, meaningful poetry/Gazal. He was 13 years old when he wrote his first Gazal and performed it at a school function. That was his first interaction with an audience, and from then on, he decided to explore other ways to convey the messages behind his poetry. Because he came from a slum area that is now properly developed, it was very difficult at that time to choose a hobby or passion that would capture attention, except for studies. But he shared his ideas with his parents and showed them some of his work. They thought it was just a temporary idea, so they didn’t take it seriously and allowed him to pursue it, but advised him to always prioritize his studies. At first, he made random poetry videos and posted them on YouTube using random channels. After some time, he started taking an interest in Hip-hop music and wrote his first song using his poetry skills, and began studying online about music-making, mixing, and producing. At the age of 15, he learned almost everything about music development (vocal processing, music producing, etc.) by using only the support of the internet. He also started earning money at this age by providing his services online.
Rapping career
In 2018, Vu Quoc Anh joined a social networking platform, Tiktok, and became very famous under the name Vu Quoc Anh thanks to his videos.
