Mudar Hamdan (Script error: The function "langx" does not exist.) Syrian politician who has served as member of the People's Assembly since July 2026.
Biografy
Following the release of the Syrian presidential list, he became a member of the People's Assembly.[1]
Controversy
Around 200 students and alumni from the Faculty of Dentistry at Damascus University signed a petition calling for his removal from parliament, accusing him of past loyalty to and links with the previous Assad regime[2]
He subsequently denied the allegations, claiming that a online smear campaign had been launched against him, and say that his father was a prisoner at Sednaya Prison[3]
