His Life[edit]

The writer and literary Mufeed Sedawi was born in the Palestinian village of Arara - Haifa District on September 19, 1950. His parents are Ibrahim Qasim Sedawi and Amina Khader Al-Sheikh Abd, who are also natives of the village of Arara - the Triangle.

In 1978, he married Lutfia Mahmoud Saleh Abu-Aql, the sister of the unionist Jihad Abu-Aql. The writer lived his entire life in his village of Arara, located on the Khattaf mountain range. He was influenced by its mountains and nature, which led him to use "Ibn al-Khattaf" as a special nickname for himself in some of the political writings he published. He loved reading and language since childhood.
