Muhammad Adrees (Urdu: محمد ادریس ) is a Pakistani business man and the CEO of Faisalabad-based- business conglomerate, Sitara Chemical Industries Ltd.[1][2] The group operates in business of Industrial Chemicals, Textiles, Energy, Education, Health and Real Estate.[3][4] Currently he is International Director of Lions Club International.[5][6][7]
Early life and education[edit]
Adrees belongs to second generation of business family founded by his father Haji Bashir Ahmed and his uncle Haji Abdul Ghafoor.[8] He spent his childhood and college life in Faisalabad. He is an alumnus Divisional Public School and Government College Faisalabad, where he did his schooling and graduated. He also completed an advance Leadership Course from Montreal, Canada.[1][9]

Alongside his studies he started to help his father run their family business which was being expanded to start manufacturing of Industrial Chemicals in 1981.[4][5] Sitara Chemicals plant started commercial production of Caustic Soda in 1984/85 with capacity of 30 MT/day.[10] Later on, production capacity was gradually raised to current 630 MT/day by adding up new plants & increasing the capacity of existing ones.[3][11][12]
