He was born in 1745 and died in 1788. He was also Subedar of Punjab and Kashmir.[2] He was awarded with title of Nawab by Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II.
Biography[edit]
He was only a nominal Nawab as at that time most of the Punjab Region was divided between Sikh Misls.[3] During 1760's, Punjab was divided between twelve Misls, one British resident state and only Muslim state of Muhammad Ali. During his reign, Bhangi Misl captured Lahore Fort and sent him to Jehanabad, the modern Ravi Town.[4]
